iPhone 11 Pro with damaged ambient light sensor, not being able to fully turn on and stuck in a bootloop/contact support screen
The ambient light sensor is a part of the speaker and the whole thing is the part of the display assembly, and is responsible for automatic screen brightness control, and also the Face ID cannot work with the part being damaged.
If the whole speaker assembly is replaced then the Face ID will not work, since there is a serialized chip on the light sensor flex cable.
Replacing the sensor requires a little bit of micro soldering but is doable.
After the repair phone was turning on and the customers data was backed up.
